Which do you prefer, bitter or sweet things?  

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20

We see three woes that contrast here evil for good, darkness for light, and sweet for bitter.  

In the last days, we will see an increase in each. Those that are evil will get darker and bitter, and those that are righteous will get brighter and sweeter.  

“But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble.” Proverbs 4:18-19
