Many would say that bickering/arguing is typical in every family, and some would say it is even to be expected. Arguing is the exchange or express diverging or opposite views, typically in a heated or angry way, and many avoid seeing their families for this very reason.
“For I fear lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I wish, and that I shall be found by you such as you do not wish; lest there be contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, backbitings, whisperings, conceits, tumults;” 2 Corinthians 12:20
Paul was proclaiming these words to Christians. Should we not be different from the world? Yes, of course, however, we see that we are not. We need to humble ourselves (James 4:10), “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Luke 6:31
“A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict, but the one who is patient calms a quarrel.” Proverbs 15:18
