A loss may cause you to shut your heart to new opportunities. Be open to what God has next for you.

Marrying again after a loved one dies is not only allowed in the Bible but also encouraged for younger widows (1 Cor 7:8-9 and 1 Tim 5:14). God will enlarge your heart for the new person He brings into your life. Ask God to give you wisdom, understanding and largeness of heart. Rest in the Lord that He knows the plans for you.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jer 29:11
