Artificial Intelligence and Jesus

We live in a world of fast growing technology. There is a robot named Sophia, who actually has citizenship in a country. The idea of super soldiers whose minds are complimented with super thinking technology is not far fetched. So, what does the Bible say about our mind? And how can we protect our mind from techie thoughts we do not want?

“For ‘who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?’ But we have the mind of Christ.”  I Corinthians 2:16  NKJV

When we make Jesus the Lord of our life, we have His mind. We think like He does, with wisdom and love. But, how can we protect ourselves against having our minds overtaken by an evil programmer?

“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God”  Ephesians 6:17

The helmet protects our head. The sixth chapter in Ephesians tells us about putting on the amour of God as we fight against evil, against the rulers of darkness of this age. And our sword is the word of God; His love letter to us, His instruction book, and His gift of life.

“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 2:5  NKJV

“Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”  I Corinthians 1:25  NKJV
