“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.” Matthew 5:13 NKJV
I went to Lowe’s the other day and made a big purchase. I anticipated my bill to be much higher. When I looked at my receipt, I found that the lady had left off a $70 can of polyurethane. So I went back in and told her, no response. As I walked to the car, a lady who had witnessed it said, if you had just gone home, your blessings would have been hindered…this was not my intent, yet this was the enemies. We are to be a blessing, the salt of the earth, just as salt purifies, preserves and makes things taste good. We must allow others to see the goodness of God and His ways.
