Are you satisfied in all areas of your life?
If something has just come to mind, then you may need to find satisfaction in God.
As a Christian, we should not have any area of our life that is unfulfilled.
Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” We should be walking in the abundant life of Christ (John 10:10 (b)), with all of our needs met.
Many try to fill the emptiness they feel inside by things of this world (material objects, food, relationships, work, etc). What are you lusting after? If it is not Christ, first and foremost, you may be trying to self-gratify, which is a sin. God wants to be our all and all. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled.” Mathew 5:6
We can only be satisfied when we are in Christ, made whole and complete in Him. When we lay down our life to Him, He will lead us to be sanctified (spirit, soul and body), and all we want is His will and to glorify Him (1 Thess 5:23).
“The Lord will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.” Isaiah 58:11
