How can we have the energy and fuel to keep moving forward? We just don’t need the energy to go to work; we need the power to work in the face of adversity.

“The Lord said to Moses, “Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning continually. Outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law in the tent of meeting, Aaron is to tend the lamps before the Lord from evening till morning, continually. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come.” Leb 24:1-3

Notice the priests were to tend the lamp. We are all priests for the Lord, and through the Holy Spirit’s power, we will have what we need each day to keep moving forward and to see in this dark world.

Keep your eye on the prize, “There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.” Revelation 22:5
