“I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.” Isaiah 62:6-7

The word “call” in Hebrew means the one who reminds the Lord. Not that God needs reminding that His people need peace and that peace and righteousness will pour out to all nations through Jerusalem. Yet, God calls us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. God is faithful to the one who calls upon Him, and those who pray for His people will prosper.
