As I walked my three Dachshunds today, one of them started to be rebellious, would not listen and decided her way was the best. I immediately put her on a short leash.

I thought, is this the way the Lord deals with some of His children, by putting them on a short leash, reeling them in when they step out of line?

“You have hedged me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me.” Psalm 139:5

I believe It is out of His grace, mercy and lovingkindness that He goes before us, protects us from behind, surrounds us, and keeps us from tripping up.
