Are you holding out?
Many cover their pain; are indifferent. You may be saying, no one will come close to hurting me again.
It is through the eyes of shame do we cover ourselves.
“Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.” Genesis 3:7
God is our protector and will provide covering.
David knew that no matter what he encountered God was with him, “I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved;…” Psalms 121:2-3
As we give our pain to the Lord, He moves in a mighty way on our behalf.
