Are You FAT?

I was listening to the funeral of Billy Graham. One of his children said that Billy wanted to always be FAT. This is an acronym that stands for faithful, available and teachable. When it comes to our relationship with God, these are traits that we need on a daily basis. Not only should we be faithful and available to God, but teachable. God is always faithful to us, and always available. If we listen, He will teach us. So, let us exercise our FATness today.

“Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. But the ones that fell on good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.”  Luke 8:11,15  NKJV
