Are you constantly striving for your next promotion, a better job, more money, a better house, or the next degree?  

Striving may be a sign that you are not satisfied.  We are to be satisfied in Christ Jesus. 

Proverbs 27:20b says, “the eyes of man are never satisfied.”  However, if you turn your eyes to Jesus, He fulfils the longing soul.  Resist the temptation to get more. It will only lead to dissatisfaction.  God will provide you with what you need.
