Are you afraid of what people will think?  Many do not follow through with what God asks them to do because they are concerned about what people will think or say.

Saul disobeyed God for this very reason.  He feared the people and obeyed their voice (1 Samuel 15:24).

“But Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you, for you have rejected the word of the Lord, and the Lord has rejected you from being king over Israel.”  1 Samuel 15:26

Satan wants to pull us away with fear.

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”  Matthew 6:24
