“Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God;” 1 Thess 4

To abound means we are to be in excess, to have more and more.

Scripture says we should be abounding in everything: hope, work of the Lord, faith, utterance, knowledge, diligence, love, and grace…

Only through the power of the Holy Spirit can we abound. Draw near to the Lord, and He will draw near to you.
