Anxious?

Do we go to God when we are anxious?

Anxiety is a feeling of worry, or nervousness about something with an uncertain outcome.

As I was writing this devotion, I received a call from Lowes to authorize the approval to move forward with a window replacement quote. I felt anxious; I pondered this reaction. After all, I prayed, and God said this is what He wanted me to do.

At that moment, I needed to just walk out His word, “Be anxious for nothing….” Phil 4:6

Yet, I still felt uneasy. I realized that I was delaying giving the final approval based on a past bad experience, and I was concerned about the outcome. I realized that I did not need to be anxious. I just needed to trust God and His word.

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.” Psalm 94:19
