All hope given up

“Now when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest beat on us, all hope that we would be saved was finally given up.” Acts 27:20

God wants to take us to a place where all our expectations for any change in circumstances are resting solely in His hands.   When we dig deeper into the meaning of hope in Greek and Hebrew we find that the word means to wait, to trust, to expect.   Are you waiting for God to change your circumstances? Are you expecting God to do wonderous, miraculous things? Do you trust God?

Remember, God tests us every moment. Don’t give up!

“Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:5
