A New Thing?

We have become a disposable society; from paper plates to relationships. If something doesn’t work for us any longer we can discard it and buy something new. We have a tendency for the “new”. Our society wants the newest technology as the current becomes obsolete. But, God also wants to bring new things.

God wants us to throw away our old lives that bring torment and pain, to a life of joy and peace. He wants us to trust Him to change us when we become so tired of trying to change ourselves.

“Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.  Isaiah 42:9  NKJV

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”  II Corinthians 5:17  NKJV
