Are you dead? I will have you know; you may be dead. When a person is dead, the Spirit goes back to God (Ecclesiastes 12:7). The body of Christ in the church of Sardis (Revelation 3:1-6) had a reputation of being alive, but they were dead.

You may want to test to see if you are alive or dead:

1. Are you seeking God every day?

2. Are you letting the Spirit lead you?

3. Is your mind fixed on the Lord? Do you have peace?

4. Are you producing good fruit?

Galatians 5:16-17 says, “…walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please.”

Jesus the one who has the seven spirits, fullness of the spirit (Isaiah 11:2) says, “Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die…. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Revelation 3:2-3
