As I let my dogs out the door this morning before sunrise, I heard this noise in the woods that sounded like a woman screaming for her life. Oh my, was it a little unsettling, and my dogs thought so also. They immediately ran back into the house and hid behind me.

When things are unsettling in our lives, we need to do the same thing. Run to our Father for refuge.

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day,” Psalms‬ ‭91:1-2, 4-5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
