Why would someone raised in the Church, who accepted Christ in their life, walk away?
It is a question that many families have as they see their loved ones no longer following Christ.
The Bible says in the last days that there will be a falling away (2 Thess 1:1-3). Since the 2020 pandemic, many Christians are no longer going physically to Church.
Pew Research Center reported on March 22, 2022, “More houses of worship are returning to normal operations, but in-person attendance is unchanged since fall”
Is this the start of the falling away of the Church? Scripture tells us we are not to forsake fellowship, coming together as a body of Christ, “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25
If you find family members or friends not going to Church or saying they are watching it online, encourage them to get back to in-person worship.
“…if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7
