Have you ever tried to make a u-turn where it was not allowed? 

There will be no u-turns when you are in front of God on judgement day. It will be too late; you have crossed the line. 

“There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out.” ‭Luke‬ ‭13:28‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It is not too late to turn your life around. “Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to him: “Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously, that we may offer the fruit of our lips.” Hosea 14:2
