Probably not what you expected on Valentine’s day, is it? A devotion about loving yourself.

However, God has given us a Valentines Card; it is a long one, The Bible. It is a love letter to us. And with all love, there is admonishment once in a while.

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,” 2 Timothy 3:1-4.

It is out of God’s love that He corrects us. God does not leave us where we are but shows us what we need to see.

Walk-in His love, “I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end.” Psalm 119:112
