So much is coming upon people today. Sickness, diseases, physical ailments, poverty, depression, hopelessness, famine, trauma, etc. How can you receive the Lord’s protection?

The Lord tells His people throughout the Bible (the different dispensations) how to receive His protection. When you look closely at the message, it is the same.

Dispensation of Patriarchs–the Passover (Exodus 12:21-23)
Sacrifice a pure lamb, apply the blood to the house (doorposts and lintels) with Hyssop and stay inside. The destroyer will pass over.

Dispensation of Law – the sacrifice continues (Life is in the blood)

“For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.” Levticus 17:11

And you must remain (abide) in the house (secret place of God), behind the blood which has been applied by the testimony (“I will say….”. If you do not declare, you do not have protection).

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Psalm 91:1-2

And finally,

Dispensation of the Gospel – the Sacrifice is Jesus Christ (the pure, sinless lamb of God who shed His precious blood and this blood is applied to our lives by the word of our testimony of what Christ has done for us on the cross. We stay behind the blood by dying to self (laying down our lives).

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” Revelation 12:11
