How do you know when you are entirely healed, restored? The enemy comes to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. God comes that you may have life and that you may have it more abundantly (John 10:10).
Nehemiah knew God’s promises, and he petitioned and praised God, confessed sins for himself and his family and relied on God to rebuild (Nehemiah 1:5-6). God’s healing is all-encompassing, the soul (mind, will and emotions), physical (body) and spiritual. If you struggle in any of these areas, there is still work to accomplish. Lift your voice to God as Nehemiah did confess sins for you and your family, forgive anyone you need to forgive, repent, and rely on God completely to do the mighty work of restoring what the enemy has stolen.
“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thess 5:23
