Look around; how many people do you know that have no ailments and are on no medicines? Can you name one?
God desires that we be in health; that would mean he expects us not to be part of the walking wounded.
God promises physical healing. Yet, there are conditions: humble yourself, revere the Lord, and depart from evil (if you cannot do something without thanking Jesus, you should not be doing it).
At age 50, I received a call from my doctor on my birthday. She said, you have Osteoperosis; you have the bones of an 80-year-old. You need to go on medicine immediately, and you need to take massive doses of vitamins. My first thought was Happy Birthday to me, and then the second thought was, I refuse this gift from the devil. Every good gift comes from God our Father, and this was not a good gift. I refused to accept this prognosis.
“Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.” Proverbs 3:7-8.
Today, I do not have osteoporosis. I am in perfect health; I take no medicines. I praise the Lord Jesus Christ for His healing hands.
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” 3 John 1:2
