We see in Daniel 8:23-24 that in the latter times (Hebrew word “achariyth” end), end times, when rebellion has reached its height (fullness), a king (master-of-intrigue), on who understands sinister schemes is going to arise….He shall destroy the mighty, and also the Holy people…. This master-of-intrigue is the Anti-Christ.

How do we know if rebellion has reached its height?

The answer is clear, when we see the Word of the LORD is rejected as truth, Christians fall away, and rebels have become completely wicked.

God’s word says, “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king.” 1 Samuel 15:23

Satan wants His Gospel preached. In contrast to our calling in Mathew 24:14, to preach the true Gospel to the world for our Lord to come.

Lord, help us to not fall away. Help us to fulfill our calling. Heal our hearts and show us what we need to change to remain faithful to you. I pray this in Jesus name.
