“let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” Hebrews 10:22
God desires fellowship; for us to be close to Him. Notice the call is for “us” to come near, the body (the church) to come together. Jesus broke the veil through His precious blood for this very purpose. But is it enough to draw near?
God desires for us not only to come close but to draw near with a true heart, a heart without evil. The Bible says an evil heart is a heart of unbelief (Hebrews 3:12). God is seeking true worshippers to pursue Him in Spirit and truth (John 4:24) in full assurance of faith, no doubt, a committed heart, a heart loyal to Him; one that has no other motives than to glorify Him. Let us bow down before Him today.
“Give to the Lord the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come before Him. Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness!” 1 Chronicles 16:29
