If you are struggling to forgive someone that has hurt you, ask the Lord to help. Unforgiveness can hurt you more than the other person. It opens the door for the enemy to come in and torment you; unforgiveness invites bitterness.

Remember, forgiveness doesn’t mean what was done was right. However, it makes you right in Christ’s eyes.

“looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;” Hebrews 12:15

“But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Mathew 6:15
