Hunters sight in their weapons before they go out in the woods so as not to miss an opportunity. God’s word is what equips the saints to have the eyes of understanding. We know that in the times we live, we need the Lord’s wisdom and understanding to not only survive but to thrive for the Lord. 

“Wisdom is in the sight of him who has understanding… and Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding.” Proverbs 17:24/Job 28:28

Lord, give your people the eyes of understanding (Ephesians 1:18). I pray this in Jesus name.
