I planted grass seed two years in row in the same location. The weeds killed the grass. The weeds in our life are trying to kill us. God created us originally to be like him (Genesis 1:26).  However, Adam and eve’s rebellion corrupted the seed.  

We are to live a holy life in service to God, laying all down at Jesus feet.

“Jesus death on the cross has set us free, “knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.” Romans 6:6

Do not go back to your old way of life.  Be bountiful in Christ.

“But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” Mathew 13:23
