A mother told her little boy that someday they would be going to heaven. He looked at her with anticipation and said, “what should I pack, mom?” The boy had a valid question, what are we going to be taking with us to heaven? All that we have gained in this world will fade away except “…these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13

Don’t let there be junk in your trunk when you go before our King.

We are to prepare ourselves for the glorious day, “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready. And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.”  Revelation 19:7-8

Lord, You are faithful; You are our hope; and, love. Help us to be faithful, love as you love and keep us anchored to our hope, Jesus Christ. May we be righteous in Him. I pray this in Jesus Christ name.
