The last days are going to require a mighty work of God in our hearts. “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,” 2 Tim 3:1-3

Would you consider the characteristics of these men unrighteous? How many of these characteristics apply to you? Let’s be honest now. Go back through the list.

Do you know that unrighteousness is sin (1 John 5:17) and “… the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?” 1 Cor 6:9

However, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
