The suicide rate in the United States has increased dramatically since the start of 2020, 1.4 million Americans have attempted suicide, and the US Military suicide rate has increased by 30%. The military is perplexed by this increase.
This topic is near and dear to my heart because I am a survivor of a suicide attempt. What drove me to the point of attempting to take my life was trauma. The unexpected death of my husband in the Navy Yard Shooting opened the door for the enemy to come in and torment me. Three months after my husband’s death I was diagnosed with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD). I was given no hope by secular counsellors of being healed.
I put my hope in Jesus Christ for full healing. I meditated on His word day and night. Through God, my mind and heart were renewed. I am now proclaiming His mighty works of healing and you too can do the same. Reach out to Him today if you are struggling.
“Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, And broke their chains in pieces. Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!” Psalm 107:13-15
I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the Lord.” Psalm 118:17
