Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
Riots, killings, media lies, brother hating brother, “Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.”
1 John 3:4 NIV
We are told that this rebellion must happen in order for Christ to come (2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 NIV).
“Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold”. Mathew 24:12
Paul warned us that the last days fierce times will come and it will be people that we need to be concerned about, “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. 2 Timothy 3:1-5
So what are we to do as Christians when we see such rebellion and how are we to react? 2 Timothy 3:5 says we are to have nothing to do with these people.
“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:21 NIV
“but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:13-14 NIV
