Balanced Christian life
There are going to be days when you will feel like you are walking on a tight rope. There will be tension between two points, opposing forces, Either you believe in Jesus or you don’t. Either you worship idols or the living God.
To get across the tight rope you need balance. The Christian life is in balance when faith, hope and love are leading and guiding you in Christ.
“remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father,”I Thessalonians 1:3 NKJV
You need the work of faith, not works of the law., “knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law (set of rules) but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.”Galatians 2:16 NKJV
“Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power,”II Thessalonians 1:11 NKJV
Labor of love, “But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.”Colossians 3:14 NKJV
Patience of hope, “But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.”1 Thessalonians 5:8 NIV
“And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” 1 Cor 13:13
