Fear projects into the future it is False Evidence Appearing Real. Fear enters our lives when our eyes are diverted away from the Lord. Fear is sin. We are to revere the Lord, Fear the Lord.

There is so much fear in this country today. Fear of getting sick, not being able to go back to work and pay bills, fear of rioters and looters, fear of dying, fear of unknown, and the list goes on.

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18

When we are in Christ, we do not fear. However, what does it mean to be in Christ? To be in Christ means to be saved, loved, satisfied, redeemed and forgiven, whole and complete, at peace. We trust the Lord to meet all our needs and carry all our burdens. As we come to know God, our trust continues to grow, and our reverence for Him overshadows everything else.
