I had two competitive gymnasts in the family. The moves and risks that they took would scare anyone to watch. They were taught early on if the move was going awry to drop, tuck and roll.

Many Christians respond to danger is in the same fashion. They drop away, tuck themselves in a corner and roll out of sight.

We are commanded to be strong and courageous, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
