The Lord is good. How do we know He is good?

In Psalm 34:8 we are told to taste and see (take a sample), “Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” The word “taste” in Hebrew is “Qal,” meaning to know or perceive. God gives us a knowing, revelation of His goodness and it grows as we trust Him.

Moses asked to see God’s glory, “Please, show me Your glory.” Then He (God) said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you.” Exodus 33:18-19

If you struggle to see God as a good God, pray for the “the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,” Eph 1:18
