Do you remember a time when your heart felt like it was crushed?

“I am exhausted and completely crushed. My groans come from an anguished heart.” Psalm 38:8

Hagar felt this pain when she was mistreated/rejected by Sarai, “Sarai treated Hagar so harshly that she finally ran away.” Gen 16:6

We all want to run away from pain. However, God wants us to give Him our broken heart. “He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.” Psalm 147:3

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” Psalm 34:18
