Weeds in your life?

Whatever is plaguing you may have a deep root that needs to be severed. Pull up some weeds in your yard and you can see what I am talking about. Have you ever noticed that weeds flourish in the roughest of grounds and come up in the most unusual places?

Weeds in our life: Unforgiveness, fear, bitterness, anger, hate, resentment, rejection, control are harsh weeds and they tend to prevent other things in our life from growing. Ask the Lord to show you the underlying cause of these weeds and to root them out. “that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,  may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—” Eph 3:16-18

“For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.” Jer 17:8
