“Why staidest thou far off, O Lord? Why hides thou thyself in times of trouble?” Psalm 10:1 KJV
At times it may appear that the Lord is not around. Calamity strikes and the next thing you know you are spouting off “Where were you, Lord, when this happened, why did you not do something?”
We can be reassured by His word that God sees, hears all and acts on our behalf. His ways are greater than our ways. When we experience difficulties we can have the confidence that even what we are going through is for God’s sovereign will. If it was not, He would have stopped it. It may not be in God’s commanded will, due to the fallen world we live in. But there are no surprises in His Kingdom. He works all things for our good.
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 KJV
