Soulish Pull

Soulish Pull

Do you love the Lord with your whole heart, soul and mind, yet there is still a pull.

Even apostle Paul struggled, “For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do.  If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.  For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do,that I practice. Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.” Romans 7:15-20

A decision must be made every morning. Soul get in line. Direct your soul to be obedient. Proclaim I will follow my Lord.

David told his soul what it should do, “And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord; It shall rejoice in His salvation.” Psalm 35:9

Take inventory of the things that pull you away from God.

Ask the Lord for help in putting Him first before the items on your list or to prioritize them for you.

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.” Psalm 37:23

When you start hearing “I Want”, “I think” ….BEWARE.
