Loss of Memory

Loss of Memory, whether it is short term or long term can be traumatic. A loss of memory can come gradually with ageing; can be affected by a traumatic events such as a brain injury, stroke or Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; or can be induced by sicknesses such as dementia or Alzheimers.

As a result of having a stroke and experiencing CPTSD, I had a loss both short term and long term memory. The Lord is slowly restoring my memory. Even though I am still waiting on full manifestation of healing, the Holy Spirit brings all things to mind that I need to glorify the Father whether a testimony, His word or recollection of what others have said. We have a glorious Father that cares deeply for each of us and doesn’t leave us where we are at.

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” John 14:26
