Are you seeking the best for your child?

Job offered sacrifices for his children regulary, Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” Today we offer prayers for our children, in hopes to cover them in case they sin so that God will look favourably upon them.

When we pray we can claim what God has promised.

“All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children.” Isaiah 54:13

“No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.” Psalm 91:10-11

“I will pour out My Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing shall be on your offspring.” Isaiah 44:3

“And as for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the LORD: “My Spirit that is upon you, and my words that I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouth of your offspring, or out of the mouth of your children’s offspring,” says the LORD, “from this time forth and forevermore.” Isaiah 59:21

“For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children.” Isaiah 49:25b

Lord, give my child spiritual and physical health. Give them the eyes of understanding and revelation so they may know you. Fill their hearts with love that goes beyond understanding. I pray this in Jesus name.
