A friend walks through the darkest times with you. So you may be asking why then have my friends moved away from me. The Bible says, “A friend loveth at all times…,” Proverbs 17:17

The Lord may be doing a deeper work in you. He wants to walk through this time with you and have you rely upon Him.

“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Cor 4:17-18

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13. Jesus was that Man, Saviour, Your comforter.

“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” 2 Cor 1:3-4
