Glory in the morning

Glory in the morning

The days of sorrow do not last. When you are in the midst of grief this truth eludes many. Jesus says I heal the broken hearted and bind up their wounds (Isaiah 61:1).

Your mind may not be able to comprehend how this is going to be accomplished. When my husband was killed I kept proclaiming one scripture everyday.

“Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.” Psalm 143:8

The Lord showered me with His love and guided me in the direction He wanted me to go.

“But as for me, I would seek God, And to God I would commit my cause— Who does great things, and unsearchable, Marvelous things without number. He gives rain on the earth, And sends waters on the fields. He sets on high those who are lowly, And those who mourn are lifted to safety.
Job 5:8-11
