Who do you consider your enemy?
Before you answer, who does God consider His enemy?
“For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.” Romans 5:10
“All unrighteousness is sin….” 1 John 5:17. You are either righteous (walking with Christ) or unrighteous.
So we can see God’s enemy is sin.
“But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” Mathew 5:44-45
“And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.” Jude 22-23
“You who love the Lord, hate evil!” Psalm 97:10
