“…the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Col 2:2-3

Wisdom and knowledge are called treasures. God tells us how to obtain the treasures in Proverbs 2:1-5, “My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God.”

His revealed Word is the mystery (Colossians 1:24-26).

“The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Deut 29:29
