Do We Expect Forgiveness?

Why does it always seem to be easier to expect forgiveness than to forgive? We have to ask ourselves if there is unforgiveness in heaven, and if the answer is “no,” then we can’t take it with us. Jesus points out how serious unforgiveness is when He said, “But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”  (Matthew 6:15  NKJV)

We need to take care of any unforgiveness that we have, and especially if it has turned into bitterness. Jesus has forgiven us, the same as we forgive others.
