Our purpose in life should not be diverted as a result of a loss.
“But Jesus said to him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.” Mathew 8:22
The day of my husband’s life celebration, God called me into ministry. I thought this was foolishness speaking and I did not accept. After all, I had to bury my husband.
God graciously asked again.
If we listen to the calling, we can hear God saying, look the purpose I have for you goes beyond this life and the tragedies you may face. Focus on me, and I will take care of all that may come your way. Give me your all; walk in my shadow, and you will be covered.
“For many are called, but few are chosen.” Mathew 22:14
“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1
